Research Volunteer
In celebration of IAWA’s 10-year anniversary in October 2025, we are conducting research to assess the long-term impact our programming has had on participants. We are seeking a Research Volunteer for the last week of May and the first week of June for this project. The survey and the focus groups will be conducted on one day with an in-person gathering of survey respondents and interviewees on 31 May 2025.
Commitment: 10 Hours per week working virtually the last of May and the first week of June 2025, and a 48-hour attendance before and during the one-day in-person event on 31 May 2025. IAWA will provide support for dedicated data, transport, lodging, and meals along with a stipend (to be paid upon submission of all deliverables by 6 June 2025).
Please note this is a South Africa based position.

Impact Consultant
As the Impact Consultant, you will support all aspects of conducting research that we will used to create a long-term impact study. This includes, but is not limited to: administering the anonymous survey (paper version) to alumni and control group participants during the in-person gathering; conducting focus group interviews with alumni and a control group during the in-person gathering on 31 May 2025, and taking notes during the focus groups; and analyzing the survey data, using data software such as SPSS or STATA
Commitment: 20 Hours per week working virtually during May through August 2025, and a 48 hour attendance before and during the one-day in-person event on May 31, 2025, and a presentation on 1 July 1, 2025. 20 Hours per week working virtually May - August 2025, and a 48-hour attendance before and during the one-day in-person event on 31 May 2025.
